A suit was filed March 31 in superior court alleges a total of more than $6,800 in dues or representation fees have not been paid by the 10 defendants to the union allegedly representing them at WSU. The suit by the Washington State Federation of State Employees, based in Olympia, contends the employees worked under a collective bargaining agreement negotiated by the union from July of 2007 to the start of this year. The individual sums alleged due range from $827 to $448. Seven of the defendants reside in Washington and three in Idaho, according to the suit.
