Youths visit Grand Canyon

Kurt Moore, son of Steve and Carol Moore, joined a group of 10 Onecho Bible Church Junior High boys on an eight day trip to the Grand Canyon last week. They traveled down through Idaho, toured Salt Lake City, a number of national parks and took a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon. Chaperones were Todd Kinley and Pat Wuestney. They returned home Saturday night.

Many attended the funeral service Monday for Matthew Cochran at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Colfax. Cochran lost his life in an avalanche last week.

Tony and Denise Kendall, Tacoma, are spending part of their spring break at the home of her father, Oscar Broeckel, Dusty, and her sister, Doreen and Tom Riedner, Genesee. They arrived Saturday. Denise teaches in the University Place School District,

Kim and Cindy Pitts and Norm Bafus of LaCrosse went out for Easter dinner in Clarkston.

Blake, Marcy, Jullene and Kenneth Sager were Easter dinner guests of Art and Colene Sager.

David and Phyllis Stueckle treated Steve and Becky Camp to Easter dinner in Moscow.

Don Steiger, Menlo Park, Calif., was Easter dinner guest of Duane, Tarri and Stetson Steiger.

Carol Kyllo spent Easter with her children, Tim and Penny Kyllo, at their home in Naples, Idaho. Tami, Wayne and Logan Haas, Spokane, were additional guests.

Kurt Reddig, who lives in the former Altona Wigen house, has started an in-home business of selling water ionizers, filters and purifiers.

Angela Broeckel spent last week caring for her grandmother, Gertraut Michael, at her home in Boulder City, Nev. Broeckel returned home Sunday.

Greg and Gwen Nolan, Colfax, hosted an Easter dinner for 28 guests in their Colfax home.
