Hospital highlights - Hospital welcomes cardiologist

Dr. Romeo Pavlic started seeing patients on the WHMC campus earlier this month. His goal is to bring care closer to many of his existing patients and to provide cardiology services for new patients. Dr. Pavlic has appointments available on Tuesdays and every-other Wednesday in the Three Forks Medical building behind the main hospital.

Dr. Pavlic is a well-known cardiologist who has cared for patients in Eastern Washington communities for several years. He has practiced at Sacred Heart, Deaconess, and the Heart Institute of Spokane. Dr. Pavlic is the founder and current president of CardioVascular Institute. He founded Inland Cardiology in Spokane and was the co-founder of The Heart Institute of Spokane.

Dr. Pavlic completed medical school at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico and the Fifth Pathway at Loma Linda University. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Wayne State University and Oakland Hospital, in Michigan and his Cardiology Fellowship at Loma Linda. Dr. Pavlic earned a Master degree of Public Health from Loma Linda, a Master of Religious Studies degree from Gonzaga and a Master of International Management degree from Whitworth University. Dr. Pavlic has also studied History, Slavic, Germanic and Romanic languages.

Dr. Pavlic and his wife, the former Dorothy Lowry of Rosalia, have eight children, most of whom live in the Pacific Northwest.
