St. John/Endicott senior Lindsay Mills, center, explains the process by which she created the painting at left to spectators at Mary Bertrand’s high school art class’ first ever art walk Monday night in the school gymnasium. Mills painted the woman in the scene by dotting paint onto the canvas using Q-Tips. The whole project took her three months to complete. Artwork by Mills and several other art students will be on display at St. John’s Stock Show and Community Fair this week. A full schedule of events is listed on page 8.
