Transportation meet set for four counties

Officials from the four counties in Washington’s southeast corner will gather in Colfax next Wednesday night to update the region’s long range transportation plan.

The plan is intended to develop strategies to improve transportation and freight movement through Whitman, Asotin, Columbia and Garfield counties.

Interested stakeholders and members of the public are encouraged to attend. The meeting will be in the Public Service Building in Colfax next Wednesday at 4 p.m.
