The Pro-Moto Motorcycle Rodeo, which made its debut last year at the Palouse Empire Fairground, will be back again this year for three days over the Fourth of July weekend. Rodeo events will be July 4.
“We were very well received last year and look forward to another successful weekend. It is our hope to have this an annual event,” Gary (Bootmaker) McGlasson, one of the organizers last year, said in a written report.
The events will include barrel racing, slow racing, pole bending, ball on cones, barrel roll and potato-in-haystack, according to an announcement.
Planning includes a return of bands who will play from 2 p.m. until midnight. The group has also lined up food vendors to supply a full menu.
The group also plans to present a rodeo Aug. 28 at the Rosalia Rodeo arena. The events are sanctioned by the American Motorcycle Association.
