Hearing set to push back county hours

Whitman County commissioners will hold a public hearing Monday at 10:15 a.m. on a plan to push back the opening hours for three departments.

As of now, the county’s juvenile justice, human resources and commissioner offices open at 8 a.m. The plan is to move the open time for those three offices back one hour to 9 a.m. to align them with the official open times for all other county departments.
