Six seniors receive McGregor scholarships

Sean Jackson, director of music at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Connecticut will be guest artist and resident organ professor for the 21st consecutive Summer Keyboard Explorations Camp June 27-July 2 at WSU’s school of music. He will give a recital in Bryan Hall Theatre June 30 at 7:30 p.m. It will feature Bach’s D Major Prelude and Fugue and include works by Dupre, Vierne and others. The concert is free and open to the public.

Jackson has a bachelor’s degree from the Royal College of Music, and masters and doctoral degrees from The Juilliard School.

He has appeared as guest organist with the New York Youth Symphony in Carnegie Hall, and was a featured artist in the International Concert Series at Trinity, Wall Street.
