Whitman County Library now offers downloadable audio books for adults, teens and children from Recorded Books. Instructions for downloading to your mp3 or personal player are available at the library’s website at http://www.whitco.lib.wa.us. More titles will be available this July when the library adds a Netlibrary subscription. Both products are subsidized by federal funding administered by the Washington State Library.

Mysteries and thrillers are very popular reading choices at the library. Three recently added titles include Storm Prey by John Sandford, Blue-eyed Devil by Robert B. Parker and The Double Comfort Safari Club by Alexander McCall Smith. To request these or any other items, visit the online catalog or call the library to reserve.
