Several plans for the new school building are completed and in the hands of the directors, who will submit them to a vote as soon as estimates on cost of construction are procured.

Wells, Fargo & Co.’s express brought in $2,000 in silver coin last Monday, consigned to the First National. The whole amount was in bright dollar pieces of the coinage of 1885, and weighed 110 pounds. For some weeks past great inconvenience has resulted from the scarcity of silver coin, indispensable for “change” and it was shipped in to facilitate business.
