Four players from Colton’s championship softball team were named to the SE all-league team for 1B softball at the end of the season. They included Kelsey Moser and Megan Grassl, seniors; Molly Kramer and Mikayla Mygreen, juniors.
Kirsten Stubbs and Galdys Martinez, LaCrosse/Washtucna seniors, and Kelly Van Lith, SJE senior, were also named to all-league honors.
Other players on the all SE team were Zoe Weaver, Tierra Kessler, Nicole Brown and Meghan Cantrel, Touchet; and Haylee Koller, Pomeroy.
SJE’s Gretchen Van Lith, Alli Winters and Trisha Luft were named for honorable mention.
For 2B softball, Katelyn Maley, TOR senior; and Briann Maley, TOR sophomore; Emily and Erin Witthuhn, Garfield/Palouse juniors were named all-leaguers. Megan Brown, TOR senior, was named for honorable mention.
Other players on the all-SE 2B team were Megan Howell, Michele Heitstuman and Cheyane Nelson, Asotin; Lexi Zander, Amanda Warnick, Janelle Hartford, and Ashlyn Lyons, DeSales; Megan Withers, Alyssa Hafen, and Hailey Goenen, Waitsburg/Prescott; Kayla Turner and Samantha Harding, Dayton.
Three players from Colton’s second-place state baseball team and two from St. John/Endicott were named to the all-SE 1B team.
Colton all-leaguers were Chase Druffel and Andrew Tietjen, seniors; and Bricyn Abdul, sophomore. SJE all leaguers included Mason Van Lith and Ben Harrison, both juniors. Cole McCanna, sophomore, received honorable mention.
Other all leaguers from 1B baseball were Marshal Byerley, Tuff Goble, Gustavo Rodriguez, and Jacob Hodnefield, all Touchet; Chase Castonia and Troy Redmann, Tri-Cities Prep.
Three TOR Spartans named to the all SE 2B team were Brandon Hovde, senior; Flash Hodges, junior, and Will Dedic, sophomore. Garfield/Palouse senior Taylor Christopher was also named to the all-league team. Lance Lindgren of TOR was named for honor mention.
Other players named to the all SE squad were Matt Small, Riley Spooner, Dusty Lyons and Jackson Webb, Asotin; Matt Wujek, Pat Richard, Victor Mata, and Tommy Gregg, DeSales; Luken Gerke, and Joe Purdin, Waitsburg/Prescott, and Matt Groth and Jacob Peterson, Liberty Christian.
