Palouse CC begins royalty program applications

Palouse Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the 2010-2011 Palouse Royalty program. Patti Green-Kent, royalty coordinator, said candidates must be entering their junior year in high school in the fall of 2010 and live in the Palouse school district. If not enough juniors show an interest, the program will be opened up to sophomores with all candidates judged on merit.

The Palouse Royalty is designed to choose a group that will represent the Community of Palouse at various events through out the region. The 2010-2011 royalty will reign from Palouse Day 2010 through Palouse Day 2011.
