Steptoe ball rolls once again

Devin Anderson of Pullman, left, and Mark Hall of Steptoe, right, watch the world-famous ball begin its descent down Steptoe Butte Saturday. Anderson had the honor of starting the giant orb on its way after her ticket matched the time of the ball’s journey last year. Nancy Sheer brought the big ball title back to Steptoe for next year, as her ticket matched the 4 minute 34 seconds it took the ball to find the bottom of the butte this year.
