Members of the Spokane Thunder Drum & Bugle Corps have been staying in Rosalia to practice for a concert tour to Southern California. The regional group has been practicing on the school grounds and Rosalia residents can hear them in most corners of town.

A free concert has been slated by the corps for Wednesday, June 30, at the Rosalia football field beginning at 6:30 p.m. A barbecue chicken dinner will be offered as a fund raising effort for the group.

Eleven members of a Spokane County 4H Paparazzi group made a stop at the Texaco Station in Rosalia Saturday as part of a photo field trip of the area. They took photos of the station and other sites around the area and scenic shots of the Palouse.

Copies of the Rosalia all-class reunion booklet are now available at the Texaco Station for $6 each. The booklet lists Spartan grads and others who participated in the all-class reunion during Battle Days. Proceeds from the booklet sales will go into the reunion fund.

An Inland Northwest Blood Center draw has been slated for July 16 from 10 to 3 at the Rosalia Fire Station. Permission forms for donors under 18 are now available at the Texaco station.

Garth and Song Hill, proprietors of Rosalia Grocery for the past eight months, have opened a deli service at the grocery. They will offer sandwiches to order and homemade pizzas on special order.
