Corps repaving Little Goose areas

Several areas around Little Goose Lock and Dam have been closed this week for road maintenance work by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The corps is repaving and chip-sealing several sections of road leading up to the dam.

Construction began Monday and is slated to continue through Friday.

Improvements on the north shore of the Snake River include the road on the dam’s earthen embankment and the road from the dam west to the power substation. Along the south shore, the corps is repaving the road from the dam to the downstream parking area and to Little Goose Landing.
