Earl Swift left June 24 with Roger and Sunny Swift and Clay Roy for a fishing trip out of Prince Rupert, B.C. The group didn’t catch as many fish, but Earl caught the last and biggest, a 40 pound salmon.
Earl reported they encountered cold weather and conditions one day that were too rough to fish. Normally they were out for 12 hours per day.
They came home via a more scenic route through high mountains. The group arrived home July 2.
