Hospital highlights - Hospital adds staff members

David Hollandsworth is a new supplemental (as-needed) caregiver in Respiratory Therapy. An East Valley High School grad who attended Spokane Community College where he attained his respiratory therapy degree, recently was on the staff at University Hospital in Tampa, Florida.

Also joining the respiratory therapy team in a supplemental position is Jeffery Borders. a Spokane Rogers High School graduate who also earned a respiratory degree from Spokane Community College.

Jacob (Jake) Ackerman has joined our facilities services department. Jake graduated from CHS and recently received his HVAC degree from Spokane Community College. With prior experience working at Ackerman Heating and Air Conditioning, Jake is also in the process of obtaining other related certifications.

Lynn Welborn, RN, has come on board on the nursing unit in a supplemental capacity. A graduate of high school in Garden Grove, Calif., Lynn obtained her nursing degree from Lewis Clark State College in Lewiston. Her experience was gained over the past years at Syringa Hospital in Grangeville as well as McCall Memorial Hospital in McCall, Idaho.

New in environmental services is Jeremy Robinson, who will work an evening shift in surgical services. A Colfax High School graduate, he attended Walla Walla Community College where he took classes in turf equipment and Spokane Falls Community College where he learned saddle making.

Michelle Gorton, surgical technologist, has joined the surgery crew in a supplemental position. Michelle received her surgical technology certification from High Tech Institute in Sacramento, Calif., and is currently employed Palouse Surgery Center.
