Speeder cars return

Pacific Railcar Operators Saturday returned to the historic Potlatch Depot to hire out for rail rides to benefit the depot. The day was organized by the Washington, Idaho and Montana History Preservation group as a fund raiser. Centerpiece of the group’s efforts has been restoration of the depot. Speeders late Saturday lined up in front of the depot (above) before their last passenger run to Kennedy Ford west of Highway 95. At top, the speeder operators work to turn cars around before returning to the depot. The bridge at Kennedy offered one of the many scenic highlights for the customers.
