Hospital highlights - WHMC quarterly honors

Each quarter we try to single out two staff members that exemplify our standards and live our values. This is always a tough task because there are so many who do everything so well.

Congratulations to Jerry Aune, Environmental Services Worker for being named one of our Caregivers of the Quarter. Jerry was recognized for his positive attitude, his respect of patient privacy as well as his attention to detail and one who often exceeds expectations. Jerry has been with here just over two years now and has become a very integral part of the department team.

Congratulations also go to Brenda Wickizer, RN, who has also been named Caregiver of the Quarter. Brenda has been with the WHMC Surgical Services department since 2006 and took on the important role of interim manager as recruitment proceeded for a new department leader.

For her hard work with that activity, her attention to detail along with the excellence she provides as a surgical nurse, Brenda has been acknowledged by her teammates for going well “above and beyond.”
