Colfax will host Legion playoff

Four of the 16 teams in the state AAA Legion regional playoff round will land at McDonald Park in Colfax Saturday and Sunday. The Pullman Patriots, who qualified for the regional with a 2-1 run in the Spokane Legion playoffs Sunday and Monday in Spokane, will be among the four teams playing here.

Other sites for the regional round, known as the four-by-four in the Legion format, will be at Bellevue, Centralia and Selah.

Two teams from each of the regional sites will advance to the eight-team state final next weekend at Selah.
