Gay, Johnson on 2B state list

Senior outfielders Tanner Gay and Joe Johnson of Colfax received first team honors on the all-state prep 2B team named by the Yakima Herald.

Brandon Hoadley of Colfax was named pitcher for the second team, and shortstop JJ Robinson was named infielder.

Kellen Morgan received an honorable mention as catcher.

Coach of the year honors went to Steve Meehan of Seattle Lutheran, the team which defeated Colfax in the title game, and infielder Fred Lisko, of Seattle Lutheran was named player of the year.
