Library branches will close Aug. 2-8 for maintenance

All 14 branches of the Whitman County Library will close Aug. 2-8 for maintenance and cleaning.

“This annual closure allows the library to complete tasks that can’t happen when our buildings are open,” Library Director Kristie Kirkpatrick said.

During the closure, all website services will be available including Ask Us 24/7 Librarian service, newspapers, magazines, Rural Heritage and the library’s catalog. The website address is http://www.whitco.lib.wa.us and the library’s email address is info@whitco.lib.wa.us. Books and other library materials will not be due during this closure and all bookdrops will be available.
