Fair looking for a few good brewers

The Palouse Empire Fair is looking to boost participation in this year’s home brewing contest. Lorena Lynch, home arts superintendent, encouraged back yard brewers to enter samples of their homemade beer, wine and root beer in this year’s fair, which hits the Mockonema grounds Sept. 9 through 12. Several local brewing companies have put up prizes to be awarded to the top homemade hooch.
