Rubins to mark golden date

Mark Rubin and Carol Haxton were married at the Onecho Bible Church on Sept. 1, 1960. They will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house Aug. 28, 2010, at the Colfax Golf Course from 4 to 8 p.m. Carol worked at the Gazette until their daughter, Gwen, was born. The couple farmed in the Onecho area all their married lives. They are semi-retired now and live in Yuma during the winters. The open house celebration is hosted by their children, Gwen and Greg Nolan, and Jay and Kathy Rubin, and families....
