Wayne Clausen

In accordance with his request, a memorial service for Wayne Clausen, 83, will be after harvest. The rite will be Oct. 2, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Fairfield Community Center.

Mr. Clausen died Aug. 22, 2010, at the Veterans’ Adminstration Hospital in Spokane.

Born April 25, 1927, to Henry J. and Flora C. Clausen in Spring Valley, he and Mildred Marie Madsen were married Nov. 9, 1947, and they farmed in the Spring Valley area. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Kenneth Clausen, daughters, April Jordan and Julie Himmelberger, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A full obituary will follow.
