Craig Van Tine wins top Shriners’ prize

Craig Van Tine of Colfax won the $100 grand prize in Whitman County Shriners Club’s annual drawing at the Palouse Empire Fair Rodeo Sunday.

Proceeds from the raffle, which is conducted during the fair, benefit the Shriners projects, including support at the junior market stock sale.

Also taking prizes were Mike Bothman, Rosalia, $75; Wanda Alderman, Steptoe, $50; John Jaeger, Tekoa, $25 and Ignacia Mendoza, Tekoa, $25.
