Lions Club Treasurer Loren Estes said nearly 380 ducks battled the river rapids during the race. Duck number 26, belonging to Katie Fox, beat them all into Virgil Hanson’s trap under the Bridge Street Bridge, earning Ms. Fox the $200 grand prize. Thirteen ducks earned their owners a total of $925 in cash prizes after the race.
