L&I warns of patchy paving jobs

State officials are warning homeowners about an asphalt paving company that has been operating in Whitman County and other locations.

The state Department of Labor and Industries alleged Monday that a company doing business as “Asphalt Driveways” has left a trail of patchy asphalt.

Selena Davis, L&I spokesperson, said the department has booked 35 infractions to the company, Asphalt Driveways. They have yet to be cited, because the state has not been able to locate company officials, said Davis.
