Lamont
Last week, a guy wire broke in Herman Harder’s pasture south of Lamont, flew over the hot wire and dropped it to the ground. The wire hit a two year old heifer, killing her and setting a small fire in the pasture. Fire trucks from Spencer’s farm, Adam’s County No. 4 and Lamont responded to put the fire out. Avista came to restore power to the area.
