Dead Man’s Pants to play at Empire

Tekoa’s Empire Theatre continues its ambitious fall schedule with “Dead Man’s Pants” in concert Saturday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. The Spokane-based quintet of career musicians offer a variety of musical genres on a range of instruments from harmonica and trumpet to guitar and mandolin, along with solo and harmonizing vocals. Their diverse musical backgrounds include country, folk, roots, rock, blues, alt-celtic, psychedelic and original music and they play tried-and-true hits from those traditions as well as interesting fusions and riffs that resonate with echoes of classical, jazz and baroque.
