The first of the direct seed breakfast meetings this fall will be Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 7 a.m. at the Colfax United Methodist Church. A hosted breakfast will be served at 7 a.m. and the meeting will follow.
Steve Camp, LaCrosse farmer, will discuss his direct seeding and how he fuels his farm with biodiesel from camelina he produces.
Stephen Guy, WSU Extension crops scientist, will share his many years of research on camelina in the Palouse area. He will provide a camelina production guide sheet.
