Dusty duo visits son, attends concert in Austin

Jon and Li Ochs spent last week visiting their son Ian in Austin, Texas, where he lives and works They also visited some old friends from Palouse who now live there. They attended the festival Austin City Limits where the daughter of friends performed with the band M.I.A. A belly dancer, she performed in a Burka to protest the oppression of women. They also heard some of their favorite music groups, including the Eagles.

Al and Goldie Foss spent last week visiting with her sister, Gloria and Norm Erickson. They returned to their home in Everett Saturday.

Rafe, Tate, Amanda and Erik Carlson, Spokane, spent Saturday visiting at the home of grandparents/parents, Kim and Cindy Pitts.

This weekend, Larry and Di Brink, John Brink, Brandi Amstad and her parents, Ed and Brenda Getz, celebrated Brandi’s birthday with dinner in Lewiston.
