Karen Broeckel joined Cliff and Jeanette Nolan, Greg, Gwen and Jason Nolan and Ken, Pam and Zach Beasley in attending the Touchet Valley Arts Council Production of “The Music Man” at the Dayton Theater Friday evening. Austin Beasley played the part of a traveling salesman.
Word has been received of the death of Napavine resident Dr. Richard Battin, husband of Judy Repp Battin. He is survived by his wife, children Apryl, Robyn, Jana Claxton and family and Rick.
Local relatives are Connie and Warren Horton, Jon and Tina Ochs and Randy Repp and families.
Dick and Helen Appel, accompanied by Susan Appel and Joe Lynch, celebrated Thanksgiving with Bob and Deb Stavig and family in Hockinson. Jessica Stavig drove back with her grandparents to go back to school at the University of Idaho.
Carol Kyllo, Dusty; Jo Gfeller, Steptoe and Roberta Cox, Hay, enjoyed lunch together in St. John Friday.
Fran and Steve Maki attended the Colfax School bands concert Monday evening. Granddaughter Chandra Maki, daughter of Chad and Marni Maki, plays drums.
