Tedde gets RC 3rd before departure

Mattea Tedde bagged a third place medal for St. John/Endicott Saturday at the Royal City rumble to wrap up a short high school wrestling career in the United States. An exchange student from Italy, Tedde decided to try wrestling and was making great progress. However, he is enrolled in a one semester exchange program.

Coach Gary Newton credited his young team which showing progress as they begin to pick up more mat time. The Eagles are slated to compete at Warden tonight, Thursday.
