Engineering class visits Spokane construction site

Garfield/Palouse Middle School’s engineering class, led by teacher Phil Weagraff, visited several highway construction projects in Spokane which involve lowering Highway 2 to help create a north - south freeway. Graham Construction and Spokane Rock Products hosted the middle school class which studies engineering principles and then designs and builds model projects.
