Eagles return to North Palouse

Two bald eagles take a break in the final hour of daylight Sunday high in a tree along the North Palouse River about a mile downstream from Glenwood. Eagles often appear along the river at this time of year. Eagles have also been reported along the Palouse River downstream from Colfax and in the Steptoe Butte area....
