Fourth annual Fur Ball, auction set at SEL event center

Whitman County Humane Society’s fourth annual Fur Ball will be at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) Event Center in Pullman, Saturday, Feb. 19, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Proceeds will help support the operation of AnimalHaven pet shelter.

A Mardi Gras-themed evening of food, pets, and fun is planned with an animal parade featuring shelter animals ready for adoption and Good Morning America’s vet expert, Dr. Marty Becker and his daughter, Mikkel Becker, as special guests.

Dinner will be prepared by Two Cooks With Love Catering.

Among items on the bill for live and silent auctions include dinner with Patty Duke, a five-night stay in a house in Lake Tahoe, bed and breakfast getaway in Leavenworth, wine refrigerator filled with a selection of fine wines, original works of art and high-quality pet products.
