NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Whitman County, Washington will meet in its office in the Whitman County Commissioners’ Chambers, in the Courthouse in Colfax, Washington on Monday, the 7th day of March 2011, at the hour of 11:00 a.m. for the purpose of considering an Amendment to Whitman County’s Six-Year Road Program (2011 - 2016), at which time and place any taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against said program.

Handicap access for the Whitman County Courthouse is available at the Mill Street entrance.

The City of Tekoa approved Ordinance No. 790 at the December 20, 2011 council meeting. Effective January 1, 2011, the utility tax was reduced on water from 6% to 5.3%. Complete copies of the ordinance can be obtained from City Hall during business hours.

MITIGATED DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE

The Port of Whitman County issued a Mitigated Determination of Nonsignificance (MDNS) under the State Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) for the following project:

Description of Proposal: The proposed action is to construct a 60’x80’ hangar building, gravel the area around the building and build out utilities including; water, sewer, storm, gas, and telephone & electrical cables. The Subject site is situated at the un-platted portion of the Business Air Center (Colfax Airport), on Flight Line Drive, off of Airport Road in Whitman County, State of Washington. The Physical address of said site is 505 Flight Line Drive, Colfax, WA 99111 and the property is zoned agricultural.

After review of a completed environmental checklist, the Port of Whitman County has determined this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment.

The following conditions are hereby incorporated, with the applicant’s agreement, into this Mitigated DNS: In order to minimize erosion, maximize weed control and minimize possible construction impacts on water quality the applicant will:

1. Using best management practices, implement erosion control methods as necessary to prevent project construction run-off.

2. Take reasonable precautions during project construction to prevent broadcast of noxious weed seed from grading and construction activity.

3. Using best management practices, implement storm water control measures for impervious surface run-off.

SUMMARY OF TOWN OF GARFIELD ORDINANCE NO. 398N.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2011.

Section 1. The Annual Budget for the year 2011 is adopted at the fund level.

Section 2. Amends certain funds (Current Expense, Current Expense Reserve Fund, Fire Equipment Reserve Fund and Equipment Reserve Fund) within the budget: total estimated revenues $1,531,272 appropriations $999,480.

This ordinance was passed on February 9, 2011, and will be in effect five days after publication of this summary. The petitioner has started an action in the above court requesting that your marriage be dissolved and any real property and personal property be allocated to that party in present possess and that any and all debts and liabilities be allocated to that party who incurred such debt or liability since the date of separation on or about November 2006.
