‘Baby Packets’ donated to Whitman Hospital

The Friends of Whitman County Library, Palouse Resource Network for Families, Thrifty Grandmothers Club and the Colfax Rotary Club are providing “Books for Babies” packets to new parents via area hospitals. The baby packets are an effective method in educating new families about the importance of early literacy and the free library services available to them. The packets also provide valuable information, resources and referrals that benefit the entire family.
