Fete set for new retiree

After 30 plus years of dedicated service, Sandy Davidson will retire from the LaCrosse plant of McGregor Co. A farewell open house at the LaCrosse Community Club will be Friday, Feb. 25, from 2 to 4 p.m.

A new order of Tigercat sweatshirts will be placed very soon. They can be ordered in youth or adult sizes, either hooded or crew neck. Personalization with name and/or number can be added for an extra fee. Orders can be placed at Bank of Whitman in LaCrosse or by contacting Stacy Aune.

Members of the LaCrosse 4H club will spend March 7 touring WSU. Members will visit the meats lab, the swine center, beef center, the dairy and vet clinic. Members attending need to contact Stacy Aune as soon as possible.

Saturday evening Big Al’s Invitational Pool Tournament was held at the Pastime Tavern. The new reigning kings in first place were Don Keeney and Milt Aldrich. Coming in second was the team of Mike Stine and Eddie Thompson. All the competitors had a great time and look forward to Big Al’s next event.
