Driver safety class is slated for Colfax

An AARP Driver Safety Program will be in the Colfax Public Service Building, April 11 and 12 from 1 to 5 p.m. each day. The eight hour refresher course for drivers age 50 and older was developed to help drivers meet the problems faced on streets and highways today.

The course addresses the age-related changes that can affect driving ability and behavior, and ways to compensate.

Most insurance companies offer a discount on premium rates to people who complete the program. A certificate of completion is issued.
