INSURANCE AGENT SERVICES

Whitman County is requesting Statements of Qualification from professional insurance Agents who have significant experience in the public entity insurance market.

The County will review submitted qualifications and select a licensed qualified Agent to provide specified services related to selection and placement of employee health insurance related coverage.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Whitman County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.

in their Chambers, Whitman County Courthouse, Colfax, Washington.

The purpose of the hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and to receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from low and moderate income persons and persons residing in the Whitman County area.

$62,984.00 will be available to Whitman County and Community Action Center to fund public service activities for low and moderate income persons in Whitman County.

These programs include: education, employment, money management, housing energy assistance, nutrition, linkages, self-sufficiency and health.

The proposed public service activities will be available for review at the Community Action Center, 350 SE Fairmont Road, Pullman, Washington on Monday, April 18, 2011 beginning at 9:00 a.m. or by calling (509) 334-9147. If you are unable to be present at the hearing, you may submit your comments to the Whitman County Commissioners, 400 N Main Street, Colfax, WA 99111 no later than Friday, April 22, 2011. Comments on Whitman County and Community Action Center's past performance for use of 2010 funds and proposed uses for the 2011 CDBG Public Service grant award will also be received at this hearing.

Handicapped accessibility to the Commissioners' Chambers may be accessed from the Mill Street entrance. The Town Council shall meet on the second and fourth Mondays of each month in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall. Said meetings shall commence at 6:30 p.m.

PORT OF Whitman County: PORT COMPREHENSIVE PLAN 2010

The Port Comprehensive Plan 2010 is a plan produced every five to ten years by the Port of Whitman County. Our intent is to refine and modernize the plan, both in terms of text and graphics, to give a contemporary feel to the publication.

The Port is asking for a price quote on the printing and binding of this plan based on the following criteria:

*A 52 page document, bound, with back and front cover. Front and back cover in high quality heavy paper and interior printed on high quality white paper suitable for good reproduction of color photos. Binding style, paper choices, etc., will be established by Port staff and printing company.

*All text files are in Word 1997-2003. All photo files are JPEGS.

*Quote price for 100 and 150 copies.

Please submit this quote on or before 3:00 p.m. on April 20, 2011. Electronic copy of the final draft is available upon request and I am available to meet with printers personally to answer questions and go over the plan. Port staff will work with printer on final paper and binding choices. The Port's goal is to publish no later than May 15, 2011. The Port is subject to sales tax.

X. After the 20th day following the sale the purchaser has the right to evict occupants who are not tenants by summary proceedings under Chapter 59.12 RCW. For tenant-occupied property, the purchaser shall provide a tenant with written notice in accordance with RCW 61.24.060 and/or any applicable Federal Law.
