WHMC welcomes New HR Director

Chad Holt is the hospital’s new human resources director, the position vacated by Linda Ledgerwood who retired April 1 after 45 years of service.

Holt comes to us with over 20 years experience in a variety of industries. He has special expertise in employee relations, recruiting and staffing, compensation, benefits administration, safety and labor law compliance.

Chad is relocating to Whitman County from Idaho where he served as a human resources analyst for the City of Boise. Prior to that, he was human resources director for Purcell Systems. He also served as the HR director for the DBSI Group of Companies.

During his career, Chad worked in various human resources positions for Pioneer Bank, Shoshone Medical Center and Boeing.

Chad hails from the Tri-Cities area, attended Columbia Basin College in Pasco and served four years in the US Army. He is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and has been active in community organizations.

A WSU fan, he says he is delighted to be living and working so close to campus.
