Nearly 80 youngsters pass on TV Free Week test

Nearly 80 youngsters met Whitman County Library’s five day TV Free Challenge during April. The Friends of the Library offered a free book to those who met the challenge.

As reported in the Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, children who watched too much TV ate more snacks and soft drinks than those whose TV viewing time is limited.
