A break-in to the back of the Grandmothers’ Shop was discovered Monday morning. A boarded-off segment of the back wall was pushed in to gain entry to a storage area in the back of the shop. The intruder apparently rummaged through boxes of donated items in the back of the shop.
The segment of the back wall which was boarded off covered a segment of the concrete back wall which had been knocked out years ago. The board paneling, which was located next to the locked gate, had been backed up by a dresser which had been filled with tiles. Members of the club who discovered the break-in when they arrived at the shop Monday observed tracks going over the top of the downed board.
