The LaCrosse Business Association met last Wednesday and approved hiring Cool Waters to provide musical entertainment in the park for the Farmers Festival. The Mudfest will begin at 1 p.m. with all proceeds going to the Richard L Roberts scholarship. The hamburger shack will be open.
The Dollars for Scholars Committee is working hard on the auction banquet “Midsummer Night’s Dream” for evening activity. Tickets are $25. Dinner will be catered by Nancy Meise. Butch Booker will be auctioneer.
LaCrosse seniors plans a May 21 car wash starting at 8 a.m. at the bus garage to help fund their senior trip.
They are also selling planters for Memorial Day. The 16-inch oval container is planted with geraniums, petunias, lobelia and other annuals.
Graduation will be June 11 at 11 a.m. Class members are Hillary Bennett, Trevor Bennett, Teresa Casey, Ashley Goolsby, Jessica Hardy, Wesley Hinderer, Chris Wargo and Taylor Weekes. A cake reception for the community will follow graduation.
Shayla Sisk and Justin Wargo qualified for district tennis Thursday and Friday in Ritzville and Saturday at Shadle Park High in Spokane.
