Rosalia
There was a great turnout for the Battle Days celebration in Rosalia last weekend and they would like to thank all those who participated. It was beautiful weather and a great turn out.
The Rosalia Elementary marching band, conducted by Mr. Parsons, led the children’s parade down Main Street for Battle Days. Carrying the banner on their four-wheeler were the Castanon siblings, Riley, Wes and Carley.
The judges for the parade were Bryanna and Patty Solano.
There were 23 entries supported by 39 children (accompanied by 12 adults) in three divisions: motorized, wheeled and walkers. The winners in these divisions received medals and they were: motorized - Danner Holling on his four-wheeler; wheeled - Briley Smith, cowgirl on her pink John Deere tractor; and walkers - Turner family, Caleb, Phiip, Joy and Gideon, cowboys and Indians with their choo-choo train.
