ALLEGE DRUG RELAPSE

Charletta Braziel, 33, one of the people convicted in May of 2008 for selling drugs in LaCrosse, was booked into the jail here June 8 after being arrested on a bench warrant. The arrest warrant alleged Braziel, who was allowed a drug offender sentencing option, had violated probation by using methamphetamines twice in April at Moses Lake. She was also charged with failing to report to a probation officer.

The case against Braziel here started when she was convicted of selling drugs to an informant used by the Quad Cities Drug Task Force at LaCrosse. The case dates back to February of 2008. She pleaded guilty May 30, 2008. Under a DOSA sentencing she was ordered to undergo in-patient treatment for drug addition and then placed on probation.

The court records show Braziel had a previous round of returning to drugs in 2010.
