Holy Trinity Chapel in Palouse is going to host its third Home and Garden Tour on June 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Five unique homes and gardens will be featured with three in town and two in the country.
Cost of the tour is $15 and tickets can be purchased at the chapel. Proceeds from the tour will go toward maintenance and preservation of the 116-year-old church building.
The home of Mary and Loren Estes will feature new water gardens and a fire pit. The home of Bruce and Rosemary Gage has been converted from a church into a new home with landscaping. The Erik and Connie Newman home, also in town, features a brick home with a newly remodeled interior and a good view.
A mile out of town, the home of Craig and Linda Dillard is a newer construction with vaulted ceilings, views overlooking the North Palouse River and ongoing landscaping projects. The last home on the tour, the Paul Smith home, is close to the Dillards. The Smith garden features a natural prairie garden.
