Steptoe residents consider ways to save Grange hall

Steptoe residents want to keep their former Grange hall. They just aren’t sure yet how to pay for it.

Nineteen residents of Steptoe met with officials of the Washington State Grange last Wednesday, June 22, to discuss the future of the building, which is officially owned by the state Grange organization.

Steptoe residents have used the hall for funerals, wedding receptions and many other community functions. Wylie Gustafson and his Wild West Show performed a cancer benefit concert in the grange building earlier this month.
